About the Founder

The Phoenix Business Owners Association was founded by Robb Evans.  In addition to leading the Association, Robb is president of Greater Phoenix Advisors, Inc. (www.greaterphoenixadvisors.com), an independent consulting firm specializing in developing strategies for success and resolving business issues for owners of privately-held companies in the Greater Phoenix Area.  With more than 25 years of senior management experience in marketing strategy and product development, Robb and Greater Phoenix Advisors can also serve in an advisory or interim management role to drive product innovation and marketing & sales activities to help companies significantly enhance revenues.  Robb is a certified facilitator for The Alternative Board (www.TAB-PhoenixMetro.com); as such, he places business owners onto Advisory Boards, where the owners provide each other with direct input into the strategies and execution activities being employed to grow their businesses.

Throughout his career, Robb has previously held senior positions with some of the nation’s leading financial institutions, and he has driven the product management & development and marketing functions at leading technology companies serving financial services and other corporate clients.  An owner of several of these companies, he has learned first-hand the challenges and opportunties faced each day by business owners.  He founded the Phoenix Business Owners Association to fill a void that business owners continually voiced was not being filled by other small business forums.  The rapid growth of the organization's membership continues to affirm that the Phoenix Business Owners Association is stepping up with what business owners throughout the Valley want and need in order to grow their businesses and find the fulfillment they've been seeking since first heading down the path of business ownership.

Robb received a BA in Economics from Dickinson College and his MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
