Well worth the time. You get out of it what you put into it.

The Phoenix Business Owners Association has been a valuable tool for me as a business owner. The group sets itself apart by not just being an online community (one where you never meet the members), nor solely a cocktail and business card exchange group. The monthly educational meetings help me understand how I can use tools such as Facebook and LinkedIn to advance my business. I look forward to future educational meetings.

The Phoenix Business Owners Group also includes online networking, in-person networking and boards of directors which allow owners to consult with other owners on goal setting/achievemnet, financial management, marketing and other issues which business owners confront on a daily basis.

Community service is also an integral part of this group. These business owners recognize the fact that by being involved in their community, they not only feel good about it, but are able to network with other business owners during the events. It is truly a win-win.

As someone who likes doing business with small business owners, particularly ones who I have met face-to-face, this group not only allows me to do that, but also helps to educate me on my own business. It is a community of business owners.

In regards to this group I truly believe that you get out of it what you put into it. It is a great tool to have in your toolbox.

Interesting Dynamics

Robb mentioned the Phoenix Business Owners Association at a meeting that I was at, which is what made me get involved. I find it amazing that they were able to bring that many people with a common interest together so quickly. Their biggest draw is that they can make use of all of the talents of the people involved. How can you go wrong?

Effective Meetings

I have been with the Phoenix Business Owners Association for the last 6 to 8 months, since they started. Their contact and the effectiveness of the meetings are very good.

It is a group of diverse people engaged in small businesses, a good forum to discuss the problems that government and big companies raise for us. It also creates a forum for advocacy.

Robb Evans has done a good job of putting the Phoenix Business Owners Association together, and it has definitely been worth my while.
